Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotiṣa (Sanskrit: ज्योतिषम्), is the traditional system of astrology that originated in ancient India and is rooted in the Vedas, the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism.               Vedic astrology is the science of interpreting the influence of celestial bodies—such as planets (grahas), stars (nakshatras), and constellations (rashis)—on human life and destiny. It aims to understand one’s karmic blueprint through the birth chart (Janma Kundali), calculated using the exact time, date, and place of birth.
